Conceptual layer. This describes a way of thinking about demand signals. It is not a live prediction engine and computes nothing.
Demand leads every other layer. It is also the layer most teams measure last, because it lives outside the CRM: category search behaviour, competitive movement, and the shape of inbound questions.
